چکیده

The optimal aggregation of (expert) opinion has been a focus of much research, and there is a clear resemblance to the problem of the optimal combination of multiple items or tests (e.g. Meehl, 1999). For binary choice situations with a correct alternative, it has been shown that a weighted sum of individual choices is the optimal aggregation rule, where the weights proportional to the odds of an individual choosing the correct alternative (Nitzan & Paroush, 1984). Results such as these view the aggregation problem from the viewpoint of a supra decision maker, who combines all individual choices into a single group choice. This paper presents a decentralised model of the group situation, in which each individual combines the information in the group to form his or her own choice. As such, the model describes a social validation process in which individuals validate their choices by comparing them to those of others. Each individual chooses from a set of discrete alternatives the alternative that has a maximum subjective likelihood of being correct. The likelihoods are estimated on the basis of the previous decisions of all group members and the subjective estimations of the competencies of all group members. At the first stage, all group members make independent choices. At subsequent stages, each individual combines the competency estimates and the previous choices into likelihood estimates, which form the basis of the subsequent choice. In this way, dependencies between the choices arise. The process is repeated until the decisions in the group reach equilibrium. Implications of the model for the probability of group consensus are described.

Proposing a 2D Dynamical Model for Investigating the parameters Affecting Whiplash Injuries

This paper proposes a 2D dynamical model for evaluating parameters affecting whiplash. In fact a four segment dynamical model is developed in the sagittal plane for the analysis. The model response is validated using the existing experimental data and is shown to simulate the "S-Shape" and "initial upward ramping" kinematics of the cervical spine and the resulting dynamics observed in human and...

Dynamical behavior and synchronization of chaotic chemical reactors model

In this paper, we discuss the dynamical properties of a chemical reactor model including Lyapunov exponents, bifurcation, stability of equilibrium and chaotic attractors as well as necessary conditions for this system to generate chaos. We study the synchronization of chemical reactors model via sliding mode control scheme. The stability of proposed method is proved by Barbalate’s lemma. Numeri...

Evaluating Construction Projects by a New Group Decision-Making Model Based on Intuitionistic Fuzzy Logic Concepts

Select an appropriate project is a main key for contractors to increase their profits. In practice, in this area the uncertainty and imprecise of the involved parameters is so high. Therefore, considering fuzzy sets theory to deal with uncertainly is more appreciate. The aim of this paper is present a multi-criteria group decision-making model under an intuitionistic fuzzy set environment. Henc...

Resilient Supplier Selection in a Supply Chain by a New Interval-Valued Fuzzy Group Decision Model Based on Possibilistic Statistical Concepts

Supplier selection is one the main concern in the context of supply chain networks by considering their global and competitive features. Resilient supplier selection as generally new idea has not been addressed properly in the literature under uncertain conditions. Therefore, in this paper, a new multi-criteria group decision-making (MCGDM) model is introduced with interval-valued fuzzy sets (I...

Determining appropriate weight for criteria in multi criteria group decision making problems using an Lp model and similarity measure

Decision matrix in group decision making problems depends on a lot of criteria. It is essential to know the necessity ofweight or coefficient of each criterion. Accurate and precise selection of weight will help to achieve the intended goal. The aim of this article is to introduce a linear programming model for recognizing the importance of each criterion inmulti criteria group decision making w...

A new reduced mathematical model to simulate the action potential in end plate of skeletal muscle fibers

Usually mathematicians use Hodgkin-Huxley model or FitzHug-Nagumo model to simulate action potentials of skeletal muscle fibers. These models are electrically excitable, but skeletal muscle fibers are stimulated chemically. To investigate skeletal muscle fibers we use a model with six ordinary differential equations. This dynamical system is sensitive to initial value of some variables so it is...
